Job 21
World English Bible — British Edition
“Listen diligently to my speech.
Allow me, and I also will speak.
As for me, is my complaint to man?
Look at me, and be astonished.
When I remember, I am troubled.

His pails are full of milk.
Another dies in bitterness of soul,
They lie down alike in the dust.
“Behold, I know your thoughts,
For you say, ‘Where is the house of the prince?
Haven’t you asked wayfaring men?
that the evil man is reserved to the day of calamity,
Who will declare his way to his face?
Yet he will be borne to the grave.
The clods of the valley will be sweet to him.
So how can you comfort me with nonsense,
