God’s Word
For Everyday Life

The Song of songs, which is Solomon’s.

Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth;

Your oils have a pleasing fragrance.

Take me away with you.

I am dark, but lovely,

Don’t stare at me because I am dark,

Tell me, you whom my soul loves,

If you don’t know, most beautiful amongst women,

I have compared you, my love,

Your cheeks are beautiful with earrings,

We will make you earrings of gold,

While the king sat at his table,

My beloved is to me a sachet of myrrh,

My beloved is to me a cluster of henna blossoms

Behold, you are beautiful, my love.

Behold, you are beautiful, my beloved, yes, pleasant;

The beams of our house are cedars.
