God’s Word
For Everyday Life

Hear, LORD, my righteous plea.

Let my sentence come out of your presence.

You have proved my heart.

As for the deeds of men, by the word of your lips,

My steps have held fast to your paths.

I have called on you, for you will answer me, God.

Show your marvellous loving kindness,

Keep me as the apple of your eye.

from the wicked who oppress me,

They close up their callous hearts.

They have now surrounded us in our steps.

He is like a lion that is greedy of his prey,

Arise, LORD, confront him.

from men by your hand, LORD,

As for me, I shall see your face in righteousness.
