YOUR LOCATION SHOULD NOT STOP YOU FROM PRAYING
Jonah 2:1 “Then Jonah prayed to the Lord his God from the fish’s belly”.
One thing you ought to know as a believer is that, when it comes to prayer, you can pray everywhere. Though it is good to have a special place especially in your house as a personal sanctuary, it should not limit you from praying anywhere you would find yourself. God is ever ready to listen to you and answer your prayer regardless of your location. When Jonah was thrown into the sea after refusing to yield to God’s call, he was swallowed by a whale or a big fish. According to today’s Bible passage, he prayed to God from the belly of the whale. He did not say that God would not hear him from where he was but prayed. Even in the belly of the whale and in the deep sea, God heard Jonah’s prayers and answered him. This shows the omnipresence nature of the God we serve. As a child of God, have you ever used your location as a reason for not praying? If so, then you better take a cue from what Jonah did and not allow your location to stop you from praying. You should never use your location as an excuse for not praying. God is prepared to listen and answer your prayers from any corner of the earth. If He could hear and answer the prayer of Jonah from the belly of the whale and in the middle of the sea, then He will surely answer you from wherever you call out to Him in prayer. If only you will pray and not use your location as an excuse, God is all ears to listen and answer you accordingly to the glorification of His holy name.
Confession for Today
I decree and declare that I will never allow my location to stop me from praying in the mighty name of Jesus.
