Psalm 124:6 “Blessed be the Lord, who has not given us as prey to their teeth”.

The enemy’s sole desire is to keep you in captive so that he can manipulate your life. Unfortunately, some Christians have fallen victims to the enemy’s schemes and have become a prey to him. But the good news for you, a user of this devotional, and your entire household is that you shall not be a prey to the enemy in the name of Jesus. David is one man who could fully attest to the protective nature of God right from his childhood till his death. As a child, he was protected by God from all the wild animals that came to attack his father’s sheep when he was taking care of them. God also saw him through in defeating Goliath and protected him when King Saul set out to hunt him and kill him. With this in mind, he could boldly give thanks to God for not giving him as a prey to the enemy for his teeth. The same God who protected David and did not allow his enemies to devour him is still on the throne and He is your God. He will surely protect you on every side and not allow your enemies to get at you in the name of Jesus. The fact is that your enemy will not relax in his pursuit to use you for a prey, but all his attempts shall fail in the name of Jesus. You are hidden in Christ with God and your protection is of Him and not of any man. There is no way the enemy shall prevail against you in the name of Jesus. Like David, you must put your total trust in the Lord for your safety and He surely will never fail you in the name of Jesus.

Confession for Today

I decree and declare that I am fully covered by the blood of Jesus and so, I shall not become a prey to the enemy in the mighty name of Jesus.
