Luke 12:48 “But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of the stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone whom much is given, from him much is required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask for more”.
Much as it is God’s desire to pour out blessings and prosperity upon you His child, it is not for you to sit back and keep it all to yourself. As I have said on several occasions, money is the wheel of the gospel. In order for believers to be able to fulfil the great commission, we need money to push the gospel. God’s perfectly designed plan is for His children to use the blessings He has given them to advance the Kingdom of God. The many resources and more prosperous you are as a believer, the farther reaching impact you can have for the Kingdom of God. As Jesus clearly stated according to today’s Bible reading, to whom much is given, much is expected. You are not to hoard your blessings only for your personal usage, but they should also be used in advancing the Kingdom of God here on earth. The Great Commission is not meant for only some selected few, but for all believers and you are to play your role accordingly. You are blessed by God to use your wealth and prosperity to do good in this world, to help those in need and to glorify God in the name of Jesus. When you get to the point whereby you realize that you are blessed to advance the kingdom of God, it changes your relationship with your wealth and prosperity. God wants you to operate from the position that your blessings are not just for you, but they are a tool to advance His kingdom, bless others and glorify God. When you come to this realization, you can be an effective steward of the blessings of God for your life.
Confession for Today
I decree and declare to always use my blessings to advance the kingdom of God in the mighty name of Jesus.
