God looked at Abraham having not had a child, and said, “You are a father of many nations.” Can you imagine that? It’s either God was telling a lie or God was speaking forth His faith. Evidently, the latter is true. God cannot lie. So, God was speaking forth His faith. He was calling the things that be not as though they were. Faith will call the things that are not as though they had been in existence. So, God taught Abraham a vital lesson there.
Abraham did not have a child at the time, but God called him a father of many nations. God did not even say to him, “I am going to make you a father of many nations.” God said, “I have made you a father of many nations.” Abraham learnt from God’s faith and when God changed his name from Abram (father), while fathering nobody to Abraham (father of many nations), Abraham began to answer his new name by faith. Everywhere he went, Abraham introduced himself by the prophetic name God called him even without a biological child.
The moment Abraham’s faith came into alignment with God’s faith, Isaac was ready to come into physical manifestation. It is worth knowing that your confession is your possession. What you declare with your mouth is what shall come forth. That is why it is important to speak forth faith at all times and create your world with your words. I want to encourage you today to begin to call yourself by the name God has called you. Begin to say the things that God has called you right now. You may not have any physical evidence for those things, but you have the evidence of God’s Word. So, call those things that be not as though they were.
