Psalm 35:27 “Let them shout for joy and be glad, who favour my righteous cause; and let them say continually, ‘let the Lord be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of his servant’”.

Are you aware that it is God’s will for His children to prosper? God desires you to live a life of abundance and prosperity. That is why you should not allow yourself to be misled by any teachings which are contrary to this view. As a believer, you need to realign your thinking in order to prosper God’s way. According to the scripture for today, God takes pleasure in your prosperity. This means that the heart of God is delighted when you prosper. What you have to know is that, as a loving Father, God will not withhold any good thing from you if you walk uprightly with Him. Before children of God can prosper His way, there are two truths which must be held dear to the heart; they are; God wants to see you prosper and He will not withhold any good thing from you. Prosperity is good and if God will not withhold it from you, it certainly means that He will gladly give it to you. It is an error to be called a child of God and live in abject poverty. Whoever tells you that poverty is a sign of Christianity is a liar and you must not fall for such false teaching. God is the ultimate source of all good and perfect gifts of which prosperity is part so why should you not prosper as His child? God is never against your prosperity; rather, it is His will that you prosper. So you should never allow anyone tell you anything contrary. You are to live a life of abundance and prosperity in order to reflect the limitless supply of goodness in God here on earth.

Confession for Today

I decree and declare that prosperity is my portion in God, for it is His desire that I prosper in the mighty name of Jesus.
