Matthew 28:6 “He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come see the place where the Lord lay”
Today marks the greatest display of God’s miracles. It marks a glorious end to a tensed 72-hour journey where our Savior was crucified and placed in a tomb. The good news is that there is an empty tomb to show that death could not hold Jesus captive. For this, we can say with all confidence that we serve a living God and not a dead one. When Jesus was crucified, the devil thought that he had won; little did he know that Jesus was going to rise up again from the death. As we mark the resurrection of Christ, I speak life to any dead situation in your life. The enemy might think that he’s gotten you where he wants you to be; that is, dead and buried, but I see you resurrecting from that situation. To those who do not share in our faith, they would be wondering as to why we are celebrating such a special day. But have you for a moment thought of what would have become of us had Jesus remained in the grave? Through His death and resurrection, Jesus conquered death forever and paved the way for us to enjoy eternal life. As we celebrate the resurrection of our Savior today, may any dead situation in your life encounter the resurrection power of God today in the name of Jesus. May any dead situation come back to life today in the name of Jesus. May the miraculous power of God be your portion in every area of your life today in the name of Jesus.
Confession for Today
I decree and declare that, by the resurrection power of God, any dead situation in my life must come back to life in the mighty name of Jesus.
