2 Timothy 1:12 “For this reason l also suffer these things; nevertheless, I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to him until that day”.
One person who really struggled for the spread of the Gospel is Apostle Paul. He was arrested and thrown in prison a couple of times, bound in chains and he even suffered a shipwreck, en route to be trialed in Rome. In all his shame, trials and sufferings, he was emboldened by the fact that he had entrusted his life into the hands of the Master keeper. As the scripture for today says, “For I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to him until that day”. Apostle Paul was certain of the unfailing nature of God in whose hands he had entrusted his all and was prepared to go at any length, knowing that he was totally safe. The question is in whose hands have you entrusted your all as a user of this devotional guide. Can you like Apostle Paul boldly declare that you know the God in whom you believe and that you know He is faithful to keep you to the very end? Have you really committed your all to God as a Christian as Apostle Paul did? If you call yourself a born again believer and cannot answer in the affirmative to the questions above, then there is a big question mark concerning your faith in God. Like Paul, you should commit your life to the Master keeper who can keep it to very end. There is no way God will ever fail you when you commit your life to Him. Because Paul had committed his life to God, he preserved his life through all the suffering and challenges he went through in life. God is ever ready to do same for you so why not commit your life to Him now if you have not done so already.
Confession for Today
I decree and declare that I have entrusted my life to God, for He is the master keeper in the mighty name of Jesus.
