Psalm 19:14 “Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord my strength and my redeemer”.
The words of your mouth and the meditations of your mouth will not become acceptable unto God in a vacuum because, out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. As a believer, you should check what you allow into your heart. The words which proceed out of your mouth depict what your heart is filled with. When your heart is filled with the word of God and you meditate on the word of God day and night, it will surely reflect on the words which come out of your mouth. As a believer, you should master not to meditate on things which do not profit your spirit. Your meditations should always be in line with the word of God and nothing else. When your heart is filled with the word of God, there is no way unwholesome words will proceed out of your mouth. God is very much concerned about the words of believers’ mouth and the meditations of our heart. As a believer, you should be very mindful of what you meditate in your heart. As a user of this devotional guide, can you say that the words of your mouth and the meditations of your heart are acceptable in the sight of God? As a child of God, do you meditate on things which are profitable to you spiritually and physically? Note that, though you may be able to conceal the meditations of your heart from man, you cannot do same with God, for He is an omniscient God and nothing can be hidden from Him. Make sure to live a life whereby your words and meditations are always acceptable to God.
